Wyndsyngles

Traditionally, rock music has been released on albums (in earlier days on vinyl, running 20 minutes or so per side, and in latter days on CD, running up to 80 minutes continuously). In order to introduce audiences to the music on those albums, individual songs were released as "singles". Since vinyl records had two sides, two songs were released together, the A-side being primary (and hopefully a "hit"), and the B-side giving the opportunity for the artist to present something more unusual or experimental.

In keeping with this tradition, each of the Wyndstar albums has been created with an accompanying single, which we may more fancifully refer to as Wyndsyngles. In each case the A-side is the primary song, with the B-side being perhaps a bit adventurous.

Each of these Wyndsyngles is different in some way from the album version of the same song, with most of the singles being shorter versions or excerpts from longer pieces. The year given for each song indicates its date of composition.
